The first full year of Team Anglia saw 12 swimmers compete at the National Short Course Championship in Sheffield, these were Adam LELEAN, Ashley BUCK, Benjamin HICKS, Dale BARKER, Jane SMITH, Lisa WITHERS, Marcel SCHOLTEN, Martyn FRESHER, Olivia CURTIN, Peter WINTER, Reuben SMITH and Richard O’LEARY, also one relay in the Mens Open 800m Freestyle Team, Dale BARKER / Richard O’LEARY / Martyn FRESHER / Marcel SCHOLTEN, winning the bronze medal.
The first individual medal haul was Martyn FRESHER, a bronze & silver, Marcel SCHOLTEN, a silver and two bronze medals and Ashley BUCK brought us our first two GOLD medals and a silver.
